Kirkenduff Senior Social Circle Initiative

Recognizing the importance of social connection and active aging, our organization is launching the Kirkenduff Senior Social Circle Initiative. This new program aims to create a welcoming and engaging environment for the village's senior residents. Initial activities include weekly tea and chat sessions held at the Duff House Community Hub, organized gentle walking groups exploring the Kirkenduff Green Space, and workshops focused on topics of interest, such as local history, technology literacy, and gentle exercise. We are actively seeking volunteers to help facilitate these gatherings and welcome suggestions from the senior community for future activities. The initiative seeks to combat isolation, promote mental and physical well-being, and foster a stronger sense of belonging among Kirkenduff's valued older population.
